    6 beltpacks are connected through this antenna, including STAGE MGR. They lose audio until the radio is turned back on.

    Cards, Quick Controls and edit dialogs send while you move a control, so you hear the result on the headset straight away. Settings that can drop audio, like Headset Type or Reply Mode, ask first. Settings Bolero itself only sends on Apply stay on Apply and are marked, so you always know which is which.

    Pins and Quick Controls

    Put any setting on the front of a card.

    Customize cards lets you choose what each card shows, from all 464 beltpack settings, 55 antenna settings, 14 charger settings and 215 IO device settings. Pin the handful you touch during a show to the Quick Controls panel at the top of the dashboard. The layout is saved on the DECT computer, so every browser on the show sees the same cards.

    Unlimited undo and history

    Go back to before this.

    Every change is recorded with no limit. Undo the last one, or pick any point in the history and go back to before it. A spreadsheet import or a show apply is grouped as one step, so it comes back out as one step.

    Offline show files

    Build the whole net before load-in.

    Lay out antennas, beltpacks and IO devices in a show file at your desk, weeks before the gig. On site, bind each slot to real hardware as it comes online, check the preview, then apply.

    Spreadsheet programming

    Program a whole crew from one sheet.

    Download the beltpack template as CSV or Excel and fill in a row per beltpack. Upload it, review every change DECT found, then apply. Undo takes the whole import back in one step.

    Multi-net sync Beta

    Two sites, one programming job.

    Choose single net or multi-net before you connect. DECT maps partylines, audio channels and User ID series between nets exactly, never guesses, and shows a review before anything is sent. A guide for linking sites over Tailscale is built into the app.

    Every Bolero setting

    Every setting in Bolero's dialogs, with the same ranges, steps, option lists and save behaviour. If Bolero has it, DECT has it.

    Test mode and dry run

    Rehearse a session with dry run and nothing reaches the system. An allow-list per net limits which devices DECT is allowed to change.

    Impact confirmations

    Reboot, factory reset and radio off list every device and beltpack they reach. For the antenna you connect through, you type its name to confirm.

    Phones and tablets

    Other devices on the network sign in with the admin PIN before they can change anything. On touch screens, sliders let the page scroll on a vertical swipe and only move on a sideways drag.

    iPhone and iPad app Coming

    A native app for every iPhone and iPad size, built on the DECT 1.0 desktop app. Pair it once with a one-time code from the DECT computer.

    The DECT web interface reflows to fit what you are holding. Join the network the DECT computer is on, open its address on a phone or tablet, sign in with the admin PIN, and the same cards, sliders and Quick Controls are in your hand. A sideways drag moves a slider and a vertical swipe scrolls the page. A native iPhone and iPad app is on the way.

    What is DECT?

    DECT is a desktop and web app that replaces the built-in web interface of Riedel Bolero wireless intercom systems. It covers every setting in Bolero's own dialogs, with Bolero's own ranges, and adds live changes, pinned Quick Controls, unlimited undo and offline show files. DECT is not affiliated with Riedel Communications.

    Does DECT work with a standalone Riedel Bolero system?

    Yes. DECT connects directly to a Bolero antenna on your local network, using the same antenna IP address and admin PIN as the stock web UI. It talks to the system the same way the original interface does, so there is nothing extra to set up on the Bolero side.

    Does DECT run on Mac, Windows and in the browser?

    Yes. Install DECT on a Mac (macOS 12 or later) or a Windows PC (Windows 10 or later). Any phone, tablet or computer on the same network can then open the DECT web interface in a browser and sign in with the admin PIN. A native iPhone and iPad app is coming, sold separately on the App Store for $35.

    Does DECT change settings live?

    Yes. Lay out antennas, beltpacks and IO devices in a show file at your desk, then on site bind each slot to real hardware as it comes online, check the preview and apply. To program beltpacks in bulk, download the template as CSV or Excel, fill in a row per beltpack, upload it, review every change, then apply.

    How much does DECT cost, and can I cancel?

    DECT is one subscription for Mac, Windows and browser: $20 per month or $200 per year, with every update included. Subscribe by October 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET and your first year is $15 per month, or $150 for the year. It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your account and your access runs to the end of the period you paid for.

    Can I get a refund?

    No. All payments are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. The Terms of Service have the details.
